In the early years on the USA and the forming of the constitution there were majestic goals set. Sometimes people need reminding that not all is well, even though you may love your country, that doesn't mean you don't want to improve it!!! I have just had some GRATE debates and some fantastic points made by our friendly neighborhood Grateful Dead fan club.
I will now invite others to continue this debate and other on matters of life and death, right and wrong, peace and war, and sometimes.... the Grateful Dead.

The trouble with that recent debate is that some people, such as me and Mrs. Bukko, operate on the basis of philosophic principles, like "I distrust overweening government.". And some operate based on more immediate concerns, like "I don't want to get killed by a drink-driver." Easier to operate on the immediate focus than the big-picture one, because if you make decisions on broad principles, you wind up dissatisfied a lot.
